SBI AND SBI ASSOCIATES EXAM PATTERN

SBI and SBI Associate Banks also conduct their own recruitment process - which is divided in 2 phases. In first phase, a wrtitten test is conducted and in second phase interview/ group discussion is conducted. After the interview, a merit is prepared on the basis of total score of written test and interview and successful candidates are allocated locations on the basis of their prefernce and thier total merit score.

Phase- I : 

The duration of objective type test will be 2 hours, Max. marks 200 and will consist of :

i) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
ii) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
iii)Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
iv) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

The duration of Descriptive type test will be 1 hour, Max. marks-50 and the test will be of "Test of English Language (Comprehension, short precis, letter writing & essay)".

Phase - II: Group Discussion & Personal Interview

SBI and SBI Associates generally conduct two exams in a year - One for Probationary Officer and One for Probationary Clerk
